Shalom was established in the fall of 1998 to provide social, spiritual, educational and religious opportunities for the Jews of Manatee County interested in congregational affiliation. The mission of Congregation Shir Shalom is to provide a Reform Jewish presence for our community, educate our children about Jewish life, encourage social development within the congregation and to incorporate Reform Judaism in our day to day life.
